i-Volunteer Online
is an easy and effective tool for managing signing up
volunteers for events. Your organization will save
time, increase participation, and have greater
confidence that volunteers will fulfill their commitments.
Here is how it works:
- You create an event with a sign-up sheet online.
- You publish a link to the sign-up sheet to potential volunteers.
- Volunteers sign themselves up online (pictured at left).
- You access volunteer reports and send optional reminder e-mails.

Benefits and features:
- The system is simple and fast. People will use it.
- No more confusion over "who signed up for what"
because everyone views the same sign-up
sheets over the internet.
- Volunteers are not burdened with having to create
accounts with user IDs and passwords simply to sign up!
Instead volunteers can be verified to be legitimate through
a confirmation e-mail containing a link they click to confirm.
- Optionally allow volunteers to cancel online as easily as they signed-up.
- Optionally collect and allow editing of additional fields of information.
- The system is confidential. Only your administrator can
view volunteers' full contact information.
- The sign-up sheets are light-weight and work well for volunteers on most internet capable phones.
Administrative features:
- A Preview mode allows the administrator to quickly see the sign-up
sheet the way volunteers will see it.
- Event sign-up sheets can be modified even after volunteers have started signing up.
- Collect only the required name and e-mail address or up to four
additional custom fields such as a phone number.
- Reports can be generated in a 2D grid format (like the
sign-up sheet itself), or a more detailed format showing each volunteer in a separate
record useful for opening in a spreadsheet like Excel.
- Reports and Logs clearly show who has confirmed, who has canceled, and when.
- Multiple events can be included in a single report.
- The administrator can optionally receive notification e-mails when volunteers sign-up or cancel.
- Reminders can be e-mailed to all volunteers or unconfirmed volunteers at once.
- The administrator can add/edit/move/remove any volunteer manually.
- The administrator can customize and personalize the
content of nearly all messages and e-mail messages.
- HTML markup is supported in e-mails, the sign-up sheet headers,
and in many of the custom messages.
Technical specifications and requirements:
- You can Buy the Service and let T&T Software host it for you (recommended),
or Buy the Software to host yourself on your own server.
- The system theoretically supports an unlimited number of events -- limited only
by system resources, system performance, and your license agreement.
- There is theoretically no limit to the number of volunteer
slots per event -- limited only by system resources, performance, and your license agreement.
- The hosted service is recommended, but if you are considering buying
the software to host it on your own server, the software runs
on an IIS internet server that supports .ASP scripts,
an Access database, and the ASPEMAIL.COM e-mail sender. If you need
to support a different e-mail sender or another database then you
may be able to modify the software on your own.
T&T Software recommends that you Buy the Service
and let us take care of everything!

Your personalizable volunteer management system will be up and running

i-Volunteer Online. Your events
and volunteers will be stored in their own private database.

Buy the software:
If you want to customize the system beyond what is available in the
built-in administrative screens, or if you want to maintain your own
database, you may buy the software. The basic software license
allows you to operate the software on a single server, for unlimited
events, for use by a single organization (or a few very closely
related organizations) needing to service up to 24,000
volunteers annually. Please contact T&T Software for licenses
beyond that scope. Volume discounts may be available for the purchase of
larger or multiple licenses. You may modify the software for your own use
but you may not resell or share the i-Volunteer Online
application or the source code.
You are also not permitted to resell the i-Volunteer Online
system as a service that you host.
There is no support for your custom modifications to the software.
You must sign a license agreement.
Sales of this software outside of the United States may be restricted.
Contact T&T Software for details.
i-Volunteer Online is about 20 regular .asp (not .NET) scripts.
T&T Software will give you instructions for installing these scripts
on an IIS web server but will not be able to make any changes to the scripts
for you or provide any assistance beyond getting the scripts installed and working.
You are buying the software as-is under the terms of the license agreement.
